Thirty years after the Tiananmen Square protests, the world except China remembers the brutal crack down on students and activists. Thousands of people lost their lives while demanding democratic reforms. Yang Jianli was one of the students protesting in Beijing. He recalls his involvement in one of the biggest historical events and shares his views on China today, his arrest and subsequent release in 2007 after international condemnation.
