Police forced into action as Trump supporters come face-to-face with protesters in Portsmouth, UK

Police officers were forced to separate groups of people as Donald Trump supporters marched into Portsmouth's Guildhall Square where a protest was taking place.

Filmed today (June 5), numerous police officers stood in-between the two groups of protesters as they exchanged explicit chants.

The Trump enthusiasts entered the square chanting "w*nk*rs" directed at the group protesting the US president's state visit to the UK.

One local replied by repeatedly chanting "racists" at the group.

The US president was in Portsmouth with the Queen at a D-Day commemoration service.

Wednesday marked the 75th anniversary of the D-Day landings that helped kickstart the liberation of Europe from the Nazis.
