Tokyo 2020 torch relay route to blaze trail for ‘reconstruction Olympics’ in Japan

The Tokyo Olympics organising committee has unveiled details about the torch relay route around Japan ahead of the 2020 Games. Under the slogan “Hope Lights Our Way”, the Olympic torch will travel to all 47 of Japan’s prefectures including Fukushima, where an earthquake and tsunami caused widespread damage in April 2011.
