Quite the debut victory for South Korean rookie golfer Lee Jeong-eun on Sunday,... the first trophy going in her cabinet is the one they all want to win: the L-P-G-A U.S. Women's Open.
The twenty-three-year-old finished at six-under 278 at the Country Club of Charleston in South Carolina to take the oldest major championship in women's golf by two shots.
Lee takes home one million dollars in prize money, the largest winner's check in the tournament's history.
Lee is now the second straight South Korean major champion on the LPGA tour this year,... following Ko Jin-young in April.
