The Mystery Of Henri Pick Movie

A delightful literary whodunnit.

Wry, witty and thoroughly enjoyable, this charming French affair echoes Agatha Christie. A manuscript discovered in a remote Brittany library – supposedly written by Henri Pick, a deceased local pizza-restaurant owner – turns into a French literary sensation. When pompous TV literary critic Jean-Michel Rouche (Fabrice Luchini) makes disparaging remarks about Pick, he loses his wife and job. Jean-Michel decides to turn detective and teams up with Pick’s daughter, Josephine (Camille Cottin), to discover the truth. False leads and literary fun abound. [12A]
