China’s ‘Silicon Valley’ Shenzhen in line of fire amid US President Trump’s tech war

An escalating tech war between the United States and China has seen Washington add major Chinese tech firms, including telecoms giant Huawei, to a trade blacklist. Most of the companies are based in the southern city of Shenzhen, which is also known as China’s ‘Silicon Valley’. We took to the streets of Shenzhen’s high-tech centre to ask people’s opinion on the rising tensions between China and the US.
