Peace (England) talk Happy People, future plans, their 'dove guy' and more with the AU review
  • 5 years ago
Peace caught up with the AU review to talk about their newest album, Happy People, and their methods, as well as mentioning upcoming plans. The English indie rock band were in Australia touring for Groovin’ The Moo and took the time to chat with us during their tour.

Happy People is Peace’s second album, and they note: “We’re going back to the way that it used to be where its kinda like…5 albums in, it will be a thing…”. They also mention that this album is a “slow burner”, when comparing it to other bands who they say had to have a first album that went huge, then to have a second that does the same.

Talking about future plans, Peace say they will be doing festivals over their Summer, including Glastonbury Festival. When saying “I wanna make our festival show really special”, the idea of using doves was thrown around, which could be a serious idea because, quote, “I know a good dove guy”… Don’t we all?
