Multilingual Cambodian teen internet sensation arrives in China to chase university dream

A fourteen-year-old Cambodian souvenir seller, who became an internet sensation after a tourist posted a video of him speaking in a dozen languages, has arrived in China to study. A Cambodian businessman is paying for Thuch Salik to attend the Hailiang Foreign Language School in China’s eastern Zhejiang province. The school has promised to fund the boy’s education fees and living expenses through to university and postgraduate courses if he realises his dream of studying further.
