Heavy downpour in last 48 hours, trees uprooted at several places in Bengaluru

Heavy downpour leaves Bangaloreans stranded. Water logging, uprooted trees, flooded roads, power disruption in major parts of blore expose unpreparedness of civic authorities. Chief Minister and deputy CM to inspect the city shortly. Trees fell on power lines and on parked vehicles. B-B-M-P claimed that around five to six vehicles were damaged. Fortunately, no casualties have been reported.
