Netflix Drops Teaser and
Premiere Date for Final Season
of 'Orange is the New Black' The seventh and final season of ‘Orange is
the New Black’ is set to premiere on July 26. Netflix recently released a short teaser
trailer of the final season, offering a
behind-the-scenes look at the cast. Natasha Lyonne, Dascha Polanco, Kate Mulgrew
and more are featured singing, ‘You’ve Got Time.’ The catchy tune by Regina Spektor is the well-
known theme song for the show’s opening credits. Season seven will follow Piper’s
long awaited release from prison, as well as the journey of other popular
characters as they are sent to other prisons
due to Litchfield’s closure at the end of season six. ‘Orange is the New Black’ has won
four Emmys across 19 nominations
since the series premiere in 2013. It also helped Netflix achieve a record
number of hours streamed in a single day
when its third season premiered in 2015.
