One of the world's most proactive and stimulating societies attracts visitors from far and wide. Overwhelming cityscapes and serine temples await. Disembarking in Tokyo, you'll want to immerse yourself in the vibrant and entertaining districts of Shinjuku and Shibuya, go up the Tokyo Skytree for a breathtaking view, take a guided tour of the Imperial Palace, and sample some world famous and authentic cuisine. The awe of Mount Fuji is visible from many angles in Tokyo. If you're feeling particularly adventurous, consider climbing all 12,000 ft of it. Japan's bullet train reaches speeds of 200mph. Travel south for a few hours and you'll arrive in Kyoto. Kyoto, Uji and Otsu are conglomorate ancient cities with many monuments, temples and shrines dating back to the 6th Century. In the same region, you'll also find Ancient Nara. Hiroshima houses the Atomic Dome, and adjoining museum. Just 40 miles away from Hiroshima, is an island called Ōkunoshima.
