The News18-IPSOS exit poll projects a saffron wave in the 2019 elections where National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is likely to cross the 300-mark. Also the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is projected to repeat the 2014 sweep and dominate Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh (MP), Rajasthan and the north east and is likely to maintain its hold on Uttar Pradesh (UP).
