What to grow in your garden in winter

Just because winter is approaching it doesn't mean you have to leave your gardening gloves behind! On the contrary, some fruits or vegetables are more lively and flowery in cool weather! Cabbages or strawberries, for example, are not afraid of the cold! However, it is preferable to protect them with a little straw or winter veil. You can also take advantage of winter to dig up your ground. The turned over soil will be cleaned and regenerated by the cold. If you have a greenhouse, remember to open the door from time to time to prevent condensation from spreading and rotting your plantations. Fatty plants, ferns, gramineous plants are also perfect elements for winter. Floral arrangements are also an alternative for gardeners in all circumstances! (mixture of foam, bark, Amaryllis...) During the winter, don't forget to pay attention to your pipes (so they don't freeze) and also think about birds (small seeds and a little water will help them through the winter without too much difficulty!)
