Things not to be placed in the washing machine

The wool sweater: Under the action of water and detergent, wool can felt-out, deform and/or pilling....
The silk dress: Do not put it in the washing machine, as water may make it stiff by bulking up the silk fiber. The leather jacket It may lose its shape and become stiff if you machine it.
The velvet pants: Wash it by hand with a brush soaked in hot water and ammonia.
The fur coat: It doesn't matter if it's rabbit or mink. It might lose its hair and dry out....
The ties: They cannot be washed in the washing machine, whether they are made of wool or silk.
