More violence on Mamata Banerjee's turf: What’s going on in West Bengal?

Fresh violence broke out today during BJP president Amit shah's roadshow in Kolkata. There was widespread violence and arson witnessed on the streets. Stones were also pelted on Amit shah's convoy. Vidyasagar college in Kolkata was set on fire allegedly by the ABVP supporters. The police were forced to resort to Lathi charge to curb the violent mob that has unleashed lawlessness in the area. Shah's roadshow had to be scrapped following the ruckus. Various parts of Kolkata witnessed violence. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee who arrived at Vidyasagar college after the violence subsided threatened to take revenge on the attack on the college by the ABVP supporters. The BJP condemned the attack, said the state govt has hijacked the constitution.
