Winter blues or Seasonal Affective Disorder is a recognised metal condition in which sufferers feel lethargic or even depressed with the onset of winter. The negativity is especially pronounced in January and February, with the third Monday in January often cited as the most depressing day of the year. While it's rather fortunate that this negativity's over with early in the year, Take note of some of these steps to ease its impact from from the very start of winter 1. Keep active and get enough exercise 2. Stay outside and exposed to daylight as much as possible 3. Equally, appreciate the time indoors and keep things interesting by starting new hobbys or going back to old ones 4. Eat more fish products to increase your intake of omega-3 5. Take supplements of Vitamin D to compensate for the lack of sunlight 6. Maintain an active social life and don't shy away from trips or excursions 7. Consider some therapy sessions or joining a support group
