Bug. (BUDGIE, KNOX CHANDLER & MARK PLATI) – Rehearsing (Berlin, mid-2014)

BUG (stylized as "bug.") was a short-lived rock band that featured Knox Chandler (guitar), Budgie (drums & percussion), & Mark Plati (bass), soon augmented to a four-piece with the addition of Doug Yowell (drums).
According to the (now defunct) official site: "bug. is the sum of the lifetime musical experience of its primary members, which came about via a chance meeting on a New York street corner. It's a combination of groove versus atmosphere, technology versus instinct, discipline versus anything goes ..."
In November 2017, Knox Chandler stated that this is a special project "still floating around". They all were talking about doing some more stuff someday but one of the problems is that Mark Plati and Doug Yowell are both in NYC, while Knox and Budgie are both based in Berlin, Germany. They haven't released anything officially yet, but Knox hopes to make a cd and do some shows as "it's always good chemistry" when they all get together.
