Square Enix Drops Teaser for 'Final Fantasy VII' Remake The game was first
revealed back in 2015. It has since gone through
some development issues. Thanks to this new trailer, it appears things are back
on track. The one-minute teaser shows off many cinematic shots and the
game's battle system. Based on what's been seen, it appears to be
a "re-imagining" of the original 1997 RPG. All of the scenes take place in the city of Midgar where the game first begins. The 1997 Playstation original
is considered to be
one of the greatest
video games ever produced. Along with the trailer this week, Square Enix says more information will be released next month. As of now, the game's
release date is not yet known.
