Tandoori roti is made with whole-wheat flour and traditionally cooked in a clay oven or tandoor. This recipe uses a regular home oven with pizza or baking stone which provides a similar effect to the tandoor but today we gonna teach you how to make Tandoori Roti on Tawa. Simple and effective method to enjoy your Iftar with Chicken, Mutton or Sabzi / Vegetables.

Ingredients:
250 gms Wheat Flour
1 tbsp Curd
1 tsp Baking Powder
3-4 tsp Butter
Salt
Water

Method: Lets start with taking Wheat flour and add Curd, Baking Powder, Butter, Salt. Now crumble the mixture with the tips of your fingers (as shown in the video)
and add water. Kneed the mixture to make a proper dough, cover it and keep it aside for 30-45 minutes. After 45 minutes take a portion of dough, flatten it and make it round. Now coat with dry wheat flour, roll the dough properly fold them to make a round shape again and coat it with the wheat flour one more time. Roll it little thick then any other average roti, add water on one side. Now put the wet side on to the Tawa, cook it for a minute, as you roast the one side of the roti now flip the tawa and roast the other side as well (as shown in the video). Finally smear it with butter, Do the same with the remaining portion of the Dough and your Tandoori Roti is done and ready to be serve with Butter Chicken, Mutton or the Vegetables.
