Heavy-lifting equipment helps rescue trapped baby elephants in Sri Lanka

A pair of baby elephants who fell into a pit in Galkiriyagama in central Sri Lanka managed to scramble to freedom. Their three-hour ordeal finally ended after the elephants got some help from an excavator driven by local wildlife officials on May 6, 2019.
