Three bear cubs rescued a year ago in Bulgaria after villagers found them roaming alone on a mountain road in the country's southern Rhodope mountains are released back into the wild. The bears — two boys named Mitko and Jonas and a girl named Radostina — spent the past year in a bear sanctuary in Arcturos, Greece, where they followed a re-adaptation programme that trained them for their return into the wild.
