Dave Chappelle to Receive
Mark Twain Prize The prize, given yearly by the
Kennedy Center, will be awarded to
Chappelle for American Humor. Deborah F. Rutter, Kenney Center Deborah F. Rutter, Kenney Center Prior recipients of the award include: Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Richard Pryor, Whoopi Goldberg, Lily Tomlin and George Carlin. Chappelle will receive the honor
on October 27, and the ceremony
will air on PBS on Jan. 6.
