June 27, 1975 was a sad day for Password fans, for this was the last day that Password aired on ABC before getting a ten year span run four years later on NBC with the new puzzle format. By that time, the show had a new format previously used in the failed All-Stars format. Also note that its replacement show Showoffs (which would become Body Language in 1984) was mentioned several times in this episode. Finally, this would be the last time old host Allen Ludden did a Password finale, as he would die in 1981 while Password Plus was still on the air.
