Breaking Out Entertainment presents The Alcatraz Concert Live! In 1997, over 20 well-known hip-hop, R&B and rap acts performed at the 3 day live event which was held under the Golden Gate Bridge. The purpose of the recording was to inform inner-city youths about career opportunities within the entertainment industry. Featuring great performances from Usher, Run-D.M.C., Dru Hill, Naughty By Nature, Da Brat and many other groups. The concert was to convey the message; "Break Out, Go Straight, Follow Your Dreams."
