to Retire With Chiefs Charles will sign a one-day contract to retire
as Kansas City's all-time leading rusher. The running back spent
nine of his eleven NFL
seasons with the Chiefs. He racked up 7,260 yards and was a
four-time Pro Bowler in Kansas City. Charles has a 5.4 yards-per-carry average for
his career, No. 1 all-time for a running back. The running back was released
by the Chiefs in 2017. He appeared in 14 games
for the Denver Broncos and two games for the Jacksonville Jaguars over the past two seasons. Charles has rushed for just 303 yards on
75 carries since leaving Kansas City.
