In a rare scene witnessed in Chittorgarh, Rajasthan state, two Indian rat snakes were found coiled around each other and moving in a strange and sinuous dance.

At the edge of Gambhiri village, the two snakes were seen wrapped up together on the afternoon of April 27, while a bird shrieks repeatedly in the background.

The strange movements drew a crowd of onlookers, who reportedly weren't able to agree whether the snakes were fighting or mating.
