The South Bend Mayor has seemingly come out of nowhere to join the ever-growing field of Democratic presidential candidates. Buttigieg would be both the youngest and first openly gay president if he were to win in 2020, but we’re a long way off from that point. Does he have the staying power or will this bright star just be a flash in the pan?
