Las Ventas con Peña Aguilera, Spain, Apr 27 (EFE).- Kazakhstan's embassy in Madrid on Saturday presented to the Spanish province of Toledo a taste of the centuries-old springtime festival Nowruz, as well as a sample of the customs and character that help define the Central Asian republic today.
On a country estate outside the Spanish town of Las Ventas con Peña Aguilera, friends of Kazakhstan and embassy employees and their families gathered at the Ethnomuseum of the Peoples of Siberia and Central Asia to celebrate Nowruz and Kazakhstan People Solidarity Day, which is held annually on May 1.
