Supreme Court to hear petition filed by Congress against Narendra Modi & Amit Shah, violation of MCC

The battle of poll cries between Rahul Gandhi and PM Narendra Modi and Amit Shah has reached the supreme court. Miffed over the contempt notice against Rahul Gandhi for linking the Chowkidar chor hai jibe against the pm to the apex court. The Congress has now filed a plea in the sc stating that the election commission is not taking action on poll code violations by PM Modi and BJP president Amit Shah and has sought action within 24 hours. A Supreme Court bench headed by CJI Ranjan Gogoi will hear Congress’ plea tomorrow. Claiming that the EC had not taken any action for 3 weeks. Congress parliamentarian Sushmita dev says that PM Modi and shah used hate speech at rallies to polarise voters, and referred to the operations by the armed forces in their "political propaganda" despite the poll body's ban. Meanwhile the supreme court will also hear the matter on contempt notice against Rahul Gandhi tomorrow.
