In a weekly meeting with his top aides,... he called for faster progress in creating new industries -- in the face of outside uncertainties.
He added that his government should work to foster industries like system semiconductors, bio-health and future automobiles -- so they become the country's new growth engines.
"Economy is all about timing. As the handling of the supplementary budget gets delayed, the burden on the people's lives and the economy will only expand."
He said the supplementary budget bill worth 5-point-8 billion U.S. dollars,... aimed at improving the economy and the country's air quality,... should be swiftly taken care of by parliament.
