Jama Masjid, Old delhi

The Jama Masjid is the biggest and one of the most splendid mosques in India. The construction work started in the year of 1622 under the Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan. It took six years to complete. Standing on a rocky elevation, the building is made up of Yellow Sandstone and white marble. The courtyard of the mosque can be accessed from both the Northern and Southern Gates, and can hold up to twenty-five thousand worshippers. The Jama masjid Delhi is Located in Delhi near Red Fort in India.
