The career of Wiz Khalifa

Cameron Jibril Thomaz known professionally as Wiz Khalifa was born in 1987 in Minot, North Dakota. Khalifa lived in Germany, the United Kingdom and Japan before moving to Pittsburg, where he began to write and perform his lyrics even before he was a teenager. After going through a 6-month training, he released his mix-tape which would pave the way for his debut album 'Show and Prove'. He gained a lot of attention with his first single 'Black and Yellow' for Atlantic in 2010, which earned him a no.1 spot in the Billboard charts. And in 2011, he collaborated with Snoop Dogg to produce the well-known song 'Young, Wild and Free'. He released his first album 'Rolling Papers' in the same year which earned him the no.2 spot in the Billboard top 200 charts. He has featured with numerous artists such as 2 Chainz, Miley Cyrus and Juicy J. Wiz paid a tribute to Paul Walker in 2015 with the song 'See You Again', which also hit the top spot in the Billboard top 100 charts. The song 'See You Again' is also one of the most sold singles of the 21st century with more than 20.9 copies sold.
