Gerakan's dream of contesting Sandakan seat crushed, potential candidate quits party

Gerakan wanted to field former Sabah deputy chief minister Raymond Tan for the upcoming Sandakan by-election in the state.

However, Tan resigned from the party two days ago.

Due to this, Gerakan president Dominic Lau said the former BN party would not contest the seat due to lack of suitable candidates.
