The TMC and Election Commission are at loggerheads in West Bengal again. The special observer has compared the situation in the state to that of Bihar 10 years ago terming it a threat to India’s democracy. The TMC in a letter has lambasted at the election commission, accusing the special observer of working for the BJP and claiming that the polls witnessed a high turnout and went ahead peacefully.
