Trump wrote not long before the release of special counsel Robert Mueller's report on Thursday: "PRESIDENTIAL HARRASSMENT!" "No thanks, just lived through one!" Omar replied. Her comment comes after another of Trump's tweets reportedly resulted in an increase in death threats against her. The video he shared took one of Omar's statements out of context and suggested she made light of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. Axios notes the quote was pulled from her address at a March event for the Council on American-Islamic Relations.
Numerous members of Congress asked Trump to take the tweet down, but he did not.
