George Lucas doesn’t agree. At a panel for the 20th anniversary of
‘The Phantom Menace,’ Lucas revealed
that Jar Jar is his favorite character. He praised the performance of
Ahmed Best, the actor who voiced
and performed Jar Jar's motions. George Lucas,
via statement Best revealed in 2018 that the backlash he faced for
portraying Jar Jar almost drove him to suicide. Following the panel,
