The 'superjumbo' Emirates Airbus A380 landed in Glasgow on April 16 - celebrating the 15th year anniversary of the airline's services to the Scottish city.

The event also marked the start of a new regularly scheduled service between Glasgow and Dubai and was the first time the 'largest plane in the world' landed at the airport in five years.

The filmer claims: "The last time it landed at Glasgow was 5 years ago on the 10th anniversary of Emirates flying to Glasgow."

Airport managing director Mark Johnston stated: “It’s a first in Scottish aviation history and a really exciting day for Glasgow Airport.
