Derived from the Sanskrit word, this term means 'Wheel' referring to wheels of inner-energy throughout our body.
The first is the basic chakra present at the base of the Spine
The second is the sacred chakra located just below the navel
The solar plexus chakra is the third chakra which is located from navel to the breastbone
The fourth chakra is known as the heart chakra for it is the connection between matter and spirit
The fifth chakra is the 'Chakra of the throat', and no prizes for guessing where it is located!
The sixth chakra is called 'The Frontal Chakra', which is located on the forehead between the eyes, as such also known as the 'Third-eye' chakra
The seventh and the last chakra is called 'The Crown Chakra', located right at the top of our head
