The Supreme Court of India has rejected BSP Supremo Mayawati's plea against Election Commission order barring Mayawati from campaigning for 48 hours. Mayawati approached SC over the cancellation of her Gujarat poll rally due to EC order. The SC asked Mayawati to file a proper petition in court and said that EC has done its job and took action against the poll code violations.
