Trump Claims He Has 'Absolute Legal Right' To Send Undocumented Immigrants To Sanctuary Cities

President Trump on Saturday again tweeted about sanctuary cities.

President Trump on Saturday claimed he has the "absolute legal right" to send undocumented immigrants to so-called "sanctuary cities."
"Just out: The USA has the absolute legal right to have apprehended illegal immigrants transferred to Sanctuary Cities," Trump tweeted. "We hereby demand that they be taken care of at the highest level, especially by the State of California, which is well known or its poor management & high taxes!"
The Washington Post first reported that in the past months, the Trump administration had considered the proposal to release migrants into sanctuary cities at least twice, but according to the White House officials, the idea was rejected, notes CBS News.
However, after the Post's report, Trump tweeted that the proposal is still under consideration.
"Due to the fact that Democrats are unwilling to change our very dangerous immigration laws, we are indeed, as reported, giving strong considerations to placing Illegal Immigrants in Sanctuary Cities only," Trump wrote on Twitter Friday. "The Radical Left always seems to have an Open Borders, Open Arms policy – so this should make them very happy!"
He made similar remarks during a press appearance hours later.
"California certainly is always saying, 'Oh, we want more people.' And they want more people in their sanctuary cities," Trump told reporters. "Well, we'll give them more people. We can give them a lot. We can give them an unlimited supply. And let's see if they're so happy. They say, 'We have open arms.' They're always saying they have open arms. Let's see if they have open arms."
