The Prime Minister Office ( PMO ) has said that it does not maintain expense record of the Prime Minister's domestic trips. Replying to a Right to Information plea, PMO and central public information officer said that information about the Prime Minister's domestic visits do not come under the authority of PMO.

लोकसभा चुनाव 2019 के दौरान एक आरटीओ में पीएम मोदी के घरेलू दौरों पर खर्च किए गए पैसों की जानकारी की मांग की थी । बता दें कि पीएमओ ने इसके जवाब में साफ किया है कि घरेलू दौरों पर खर्च होने वाले पैसों का ब्यौरा पीएमओ नहीं रखता । वजह साफ है कि घरेलू दौरों पर खर्च पीएमओ नहीं करता और यहीं वजह है कि प्रधानमंत्री मोदी के दौरों पर खर्च पैसों की जानकारी आरटीआई कार्यकर्ता को नहीं मिली ।
