Mariah Carey to Receive 'Billboard' Icon Award Carey has had 18 No. 1 hits on
the chart throughout the years. No artist has been able
to top that feat as of yet. Some of the pop diva's memorable
hits include, "Vision of Love," "Hero,"
"Honey" and "We Belong Together." "One Sweet Day," her duet with
Boyz II Men, topped the charts
for a record-setting 16 weeks. According to Page Six, the
only song to tie that record was
2017's "Despacito," by Luis Fonsi. In addition to receiving
the award, Carey will also
perform at the event. The 2019 'Billboard' Music Awards,
hosted by Kelly Clarkson, will air
live on May 1 at 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
