Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be filing his nomination from Amethi today. Remember Rahul Gandhi will be contesting from 2 seats this election, and has already filed his papers from Wayanad in Kerala. The congress president now heads to his family bastion, a seat the congress has held for decades. Rahul Gandhi too began his political career from Amethi and has held the seat for the party 3 times since 2004. However in 2014, BJP's Smriti Irani gave Rahul a run for his money as she came quite close in the contest, standing against Rahul once again, Smriti has hit out at him saying that he's scared of losing Amethi and hence has gone to Wayanad.
