French explorer Cousteau in Russia to help save captured whales

French oceanographic explorer Jean-Michel Cousteau, worried about the fate of the dozens of orcas and belugas captured in the Russian Far East, meets in Moscow with the Russian Minister of Ecology to plead their release. Dozens of orcas and beluga whales captured for sale to oceanariums brought Russia's murky trade into the spotlight earlier this year, but efforts to free them have been blocked by government infighting.
