TN: Election Commission of India Seizes Rs 2.10 cr Cash From VCK Party's FMR District Secratary

EC squad officials seize 2.10 crore cash near Perambalur in Tamil Nadu, from a former VCK party district secretary during vehicle checks. Acting on a specific tip off, official stopped the car in which former dist secretary Thangadurai was travelling and took it to Permabalur collector office for checking. During the search officials found cash worth 2.10 cr cash was concealed inside the car doors. Officials are enquiring Thangadurai about the source of the unaccounted money and from where and who gave him the cash. Officials are also probing the angel whether the cash was moved on behalf of Chidambaram LS candidate Thirumavalavan. VCK( vidudhalai siruthai katchi) is in alliance with the DMK and contesting from 2 Lok Sabha seats.
