How to Protect Google Chrome With Password on Windows 10?

Step 1: Go to the link below:-

Step 2: Click on 'Add to Chrome' button.

Step 3: Click on 'Add Extension' Button.

Step 4: Now, Type your Password, and then click on 'Ok' button.

Step 5: Now, Open the Google Chrome, it will ask to to enter password.

Just follow the instructions below, if you forgot the password:-

Step 1: Press 'Windows+R' key on your Keyboard to get 'Run' window.

Step 2: Type the path in Run window: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default

Step 3: Click on 'Ok' button.

Step 4: Open the 'Extensions' folder. Now, you can see all the extensions cryptic folders.

Step 5: Open every folder, and then open 'manifest.json' file in text editor.

Step 6: Find 'chrome lock'.

Step 7: When you find that, delete that folder.

Step 8: Now, Open Google chrome. It will not ask you the password.

You can also delete the full 'chrome lock' extension by going to chrome://extensions/
