Alien registration cards of ethnic-Korean, Korean-Chinese to show Korean names

Alien registration cards issued to ethnic Koreans from China and Korean-Chinese will now show both their English and Korean names.
ID cards used to be issued with only English names matching those on passports.
The absence of Korean names has sparked complaints.
The new measure means people with documents from the Chinese government classifying them as ethnic Koreans living in China can have their Korean names on their IDs.
Korean-Chinese can apply for the new system regardless of when they were registered.
