Ariana Grande’s ‘7 Rings’ Dominates 'Billboard' Hot 100

‘7 Rings’ Rules Charts Grande’s song has topped
the Billboard Hot 100 chart
for the past eight weeks. It marks the longest-running
number one song in her career. Her previous record was seven
weeks, for her song “Thank U, Next,”
which was released in 2018. The current record for longest
run at number one on the
Billboard 100 chart is 16 weeks. It is tied between "One Sweet Day"
by Mariah Carey and Boyz II Men, and "Despacito" by Luis Fonsi
and Daddy Yankee featuring Justin Bieber. “7 Rings” was released
in January of 2019 on Grande’s
fifth album ‘Thank U, Next.’ The single broke the record for
most streams on Spotify in a day
with over 14 million streams. Mariah Carey’s “All I Want
For Christmas Is You”
previously held the record
with 10,819,009 streams.
