New Jersey Forest Fire Burns
Over 11,000 Acres The Penn State Forest fire that burned roughly 11,600 acres of land is finally
100 percent contained. Nearly 50 forest fire service firefighters worked over the weekend to contain the fire. The fire is not suspected to spread any further, but there are still areas within the forest that are burning. Crews will continue to monitor the fire until the next significant rainfall. The fire did not cause any injuries or property damage. John Rieth, New Jersey Forest Fire Service, via 'USA Today'
