BJP National General Secretary Murlidhar Rao has landed in a controversy when an FIR against him and 8 others for allegedly duping a man from Hyderabad for Rs. 2.17 Crore by promising to make him chairman of Pharmaexcil, A body under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.

लोकसभा चुनाव 2019 से पहले ही बीजेपी राष्ट्रीय महासचिव मुरलीधर राव के खिलाफ धोखाधड़ी का मामला दर्ज हो चुका है । मुरलीधर राव के खिलाफ रु. 2.17 करोड़ का फर्जी साइन कर लेनदेन का मामला दर्ज होने के बाद विवाद बढ़ गया है । इस मुद्दे पर सफाई देते हुए मुरलीधर ने ट्विट भी किया है ।
